The LM386 is a low voltage audio power amplifier designed for use in consumer applications. The gain is internally set to 20 to keep external part count low, but the addition of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 will increase the gain to any value from 20 to 200. The input common-mode range includes ground, and the amplifier is ideal for battery operation. Key Features:
    • Power Supply Range: 4V to 12V, or 5V to 18V
    • Low Quiescent Current: 4mA (typical)
    • Voltage Gain: Internally fixed at 20 (adjustable to 200)
    • Output Power: 700mW into an 8Ω load with a 9V supply
    • Wide Supply Voltage Range: 4V to 12V or 5V to 18V
    • Low Distortion: 0.2% THD (typical)
    • Low External Component Count: Requires only a few external components
    • High Gain: Adjustable from 20 to 200
    • Low Power Consumption: Suitable for battery operation
    Technical Specifications:
    • Supply Voltage Range: 4V to 12V, or 5V to 18V
